Incredible shoe. Basically a work art
Incredible power on small holds. Talon like toe is hard to release from incut footholds or nubbins. Shoe just locks on and won�t let go. Smears fine, especially if you're on a tiny dimple or smedge.I bought it probably one half size to small but still very comfortable for such an asymmetric shoe with an ultra rigid midsole. The upper is VERY comfortable and rubber on top and side of toes is pleasantly stretchy. I wanted this to be more of an all day trad fit but blew it by ordering my normal Scarpa size (Instinct/Drago/Generator) and got a bouldering fit. Does not feel like it will stretch at all. Heel around Achilles is so comfortable it should be studied by every company. The outer heel shape catches on everything. Do what Scarpa says and size up half to one whole size from normal Instinct/Drago size. They are not joking!
