Lots of promise - good hardware, configuration tricky
I think this item shows a lot of genuine promise. Good hardware, simple appearance, long battery life, crisp display.
The setup and configuration in the app is still pretty clunky. I have the weather sorted out, and I added in my Google Calendar, but the calendar displays are very rudimentary. I’d like to be able to show events from multiple calendars in the same view, and if that’s possible, I haven’t found it yet.
The US world of imperial measures and time displays is clearly a second-tier consideration, as I see 0X:XX for all the hours before noon, even though US clocks omit that leading zero.
I hope to see the firmware get more refined and I look forward to seeing the product become more polished.

Too little customization on default page
I love other Switchbot products. For this display, the hardware, connection, and e-ink are all fine, and the price on sale aligns with the features. Setup took minutes and data sync works great. It is marketed as a weather display, so I'm still giving 4 stars...
For me....The home page display options are too constrained for my real-life needs. I would like to show the weather view of my work and personal calendar to glance at as I brush teeth in the morning. Yes... I could use an .ics script/service to merge calendars, but there is no way to show them with the weather in a minimalist mode, side by side, so I'm not planning to pursue that.

Great Little Device.
I wish more areas were customizable and I could more the thermometers I have around the home. Weather services are unreliable where I live because I live in the Eastern part of a large coastal city. So while it may say 74° online it's actually 81° where I live.
