Creamy Salted Caramel

We were really upset by this purchase. Let me state that I love Pink House Alchemy and this was my 2nd significant order of several syrups. When I saw this new “Creamy Salted Caramel “ flavor, I immediately added to my cart because my husband loves caramel. I guess the fault was mine for not actually reading the ingredients… it’s caramel, right? Imagine our disgust after tasting it and finding out it’s made from rice and red miso bean paste. Absolutely nothing that is considered to be an ingredient for caramel. My husband is disappointed because I talked it up waiting for the order to arrive and I’m disappointed because of how much we paid for something that felt like false advertising. If this is what others like to put in their coffee, tea, or cold foam, to each his own but please don’t label it Salted Caramel.

Love this in coffee, however, it's a little too umami forward in other dishes (like drizzled on ice cream or desserts)

So good! Definitely a favorite of mine. Will be purchasing more in the future!!
