There’s something borderline dangerous about having a bottle of Olio garlic oil and truffle oil in the kitchen… because once you start, you don’t stop. The garlic oil, rich, fragrant, and properly punchy without being overpowering. It turns the simplest things into something you’d swear came out of a restaurant. A bit of bread, a quick pasta, even just drizzled over eggs… suddenly you’re eating like you’ve got your life together. Then the truffle oil steps in and steals the show. It’s earthy, indulgent, a little bit luxurious without trying too hard. You only need a small drizzle and somehow everything feels elevated. Chips, risotto, even a basic salad… it just works. What I love most is knowing it’s locally grown. You can taste the difference. It feels intentional, not mass-produced or watered down. There’s care in it, and that actually comes through in the flavour. Only downside? I tear through it at an alarming rate. One minute the bottle’s full, next minute I’m tipping it upside down like it owes me money. Honestly, keeping a backup on hand isn’t optional, it’s survival.
