Tufted Cotton Wave Throw Pillow Cover

I loved the look of these on the website and when I opened the boxes. I did a quick, gentle wash following instructions and both cases came out with multiple holes in them and frayed loops of cotton. I contacted customer service and it took them multiple days to reply - when they did it seemed like it was an AI response (“Thank you for writing back to us. I feel so sorry to hear that our products didn’t live up to your expectation. That does sound frustrating. I am sorry you had to go through that.”). Also they offered me a 50% refund…on their defective product? I’m confused and feel like I was just cheated out of money
