Proline OK, but can do better.

This is a OK looking and running kitchen appliance, Probably the better choice at the somewhat lower price point. However I do take issue with the following: 1.) Hardware and instructions for the hardware locations and application are sub par. 2.) Spot welds that hold the mounting bracket for the electronics module inside the blower unit behind the right side grease filter were completely disconnected leaving the bracket flapping in the breeze, it was easier for me to fix this than return the unit. 3.) There are what seems to be 2 symmetrical protruding dimples On the bottom chimney sleeve. Noticeable but not enough to warrant a send back. Still annoying though. 4.) No instructions to program the clock 5.) LEDS are not dimmable and are WAY to bright.

Horrible customer service

The support and communication I have received from Proline does not meet the expectations .

I was able to adapt the hardware to fit my COVERED island. Keep in mind the unit is designed to go thru the ceiling (8-10- ft). It works very well and the install does need two people to complete.
