Best title on the system currently!
What an inventive and engrossing little action game! I didn’t expect much as it was my 1st title for the system however I’ve played multiple titles now and this is the one I keep going back to time and time again.

Good game
I picked up Tales of Monsterland DX for the ModRetro Chromatic and it has a really charming retro feel. It’s the kind of game that feels easy to get into right away, with a colorful world, simple controls, and that classic handheld adventure style that works perfectly on this console. It has a nice mix of exploration and action, making it great for short play sessions without feeling too basic.
On the Chromatic’s screen, the game looks especially nice. The pixel art is bright, clean, and full of personality, and the characters and environments have that old-school charm that makes these games so enjoyable. The controls feel responsive, the presentation is lovely, and overall it feels like a great little adventure to have in the collection. If you like retro-style games with a cute look and a fun, relaxed vibe, Tales of Monsterland DX is definitely worth playing.

The Music!!!! So good.
Honestly, very fun. And the music "slaps", its a head banger for sure. Having a great time so far.
