Quick shipping. And great response when order seemed hung up along the way. First time buyer and will see how the pick thickness and surface work for me as I'm being treated for focal dystonia in my picking hand. (I'll let you look that up... ;-) Again, great service.

This pick seems very well made. The beveled edges are clean and precise. I like that the same attention to detail was given all the way around the pick as I use the shoulder, rather than the point, most of the time. It is as easy to hold while playing as any other boutique pick I own and better than most.bIt glides across the strings well, too, as well as any other boutique pick I own. I would say the sound strikes a good balance between warmth and snap, right in the sweet spot. I have tried it on 2 oval hole mandolins, 2 f hole mandolins, and a dreadnought guitar so far. I think it shines best on oval hole mandolin but did well on the others, too. I did detect a little bit more of a click sound on guitar than I notice with some other picks. Time will tell if it wears quickly or not.
No pick is going to be all that the natural material picks of yesterday were. But this is a much more ethical choice, very good on its own, will almost certainly wear slower, and is much less expensive. It cost less than other boutique picks of very similar quality that I have bought and use often. I would defintely see me replacing it if I were to lose it.
