Astrophytum Mix "Star Cactus" Seeds

Looking forward to planting my seeds.

None germinated.

Planted 10 seeds a few weeks ago, two per cell in a Neversink Tools tray. None have germinated so far; would have been happy with 30%. Planted many Opuntia seeds at the same time, in adjacent cells of the tray; almost all germinated and are being up-potted today. Doing germination in a grow-tent, with a Spider LED lamp set to about 70% strength for 12 hours per day, temp in the 80-85F range. Do you think I would have had better luck if I soaked the Astrophytum seeds before planting?
