Pretty good overall

Nice weight, cool look. Pawns are sharp on top, and queen looks similar to bishops, otherwise nice set to look at. For actual play, I still end up reverting to Staunton pieces for clarity more often than not, but this is a cool change of pace

Beautiful set!

The pieces are lovely, a good weight and gorgeous design, I couldn't be more pleased with them. I'm giving a 4-star review because the packaging was such a mess. I still have tiny pieces of loose crumbled Styrofoam floating around my house just from taking the pieces out of the box they came in. Please, use something else (sustainable, perhaps?) to package these sets!

What I expected

These pieces are well designed, except for the queen which is very close in design to the bishops. I would also like them to be a bit heavier, but they are OK. All in all, I'm happy with this purchase.
