2013 Huang Ying Menghai Ripe Pu-erh Tea Mini Brick

Amazing

Brewed this tea in an unglazed clay gaiwan, 11g/120ml. First and second steep had some leathery notes in them, then it «opened up» and the taste became nutty with some caramel and dried plum in it. The brew is very thick, full-bodied and looks like strong cofee: very dark, chocolate-colored. Got 15 steeps out of it, two last ones were out of curiosity though. Definitely will buy more of this outstanding pu'er.

A sweet-Peary tea for a pleasant afternoon. Beware with the water and the quantity: it can loose its unique taste if over brewed.
