At last. A well-made, genuinely feminine boot for wide feet

For decades, my wife has struggled to find footwear that ticks all the boxes. She has wide, tall feet, struggles with tall heels, and wears through cheap footwear all too quickly. But she also wanted something feminine, not just a clunky man's boot made on a different last. After discovering quality men's boots for me and having an understanding of how good footwear is made, every pair of women's boots we looked at fell short. The fit and feel of these boots is excellent, and my wife is super-happy with them. $250+ may seem like an excessive amount to spend on boots, but believe me, it's well worth it. If anything, there are compromises that need to be made for a manufacturer to sell them at that price, and I think Memery has chosen wisely with those compromises. An example would be the leather. A thicker leather of this quality would increase the longevity, but also the price, and it wouldn't look as feminine. That said, Mette, if you did make a 'premium' version with slightly thicker, unlined leather, I would happily spend the difference... The last you use is perfect. The only downside of the historically accurate design is the number of eyelets and the resulting extra time it takes for my wife to put them on. Fitting extra-long laces helps there, but it's not really that big a deal. Go ahead and add them to your cart.

In terms of fit and comfort these boots are exactly how I was hoping they would to be - my only complaint is that they are SO shiny. I'm hoping they will dull down little with wear.
