PuroAir 130i HEPA Replacement Filter

We have had the purifier only a couple of weeks but we thought we should have a replacement filter. Instead, we got two replacement filters so that we won't be caught off guard. We don't know when we will need to change the filter yet.

Surprised

When my air purifier replace filter light started flashing I went ahead and replaced the filter but quite frankly when I pulled the filter out it didn’t at all look like the one in your picture. It had a little hair from the dog on it but it was still nice and black. It didn’t seem that long ago that I replaced the filter. These filters are expensive so I wasn’t too happy with having to replace it so soon.

Moderately effective but expensive

The PURO air filter seems to work well - my husband’s morning sneezing attacks have lessened. That being said, I have some complaints: first, the filter doesn’t last long and it’s expensive to replace and the only way to do that easily is using the app. In the ordering process they make it hard and expensive to order a single filter - it is set to force you to subscribe. No, thank you! . Second, the nighttime setting has a light that cannot be turned off - I don’t want lots of glowing blue light in our bedroom at night. Third, the air filter app is unnecessary and annoying - why must everything be connected to WiFi these days? I don’t want to control it with my phone. I would prefer a timer on the unit itself so I can set up day and night settings and then forget about it…
