It is quiet and not ugly
I bought the I max on the recommendation of my brother, I was visiting while he happened to be changing his filter. It looked like a nice sleek well thought out system.

AWESOME
I put the Blue Pure 311i Max in my great room. I have an 11' glossy black hearth that I needed to dust DAILY. Not any more. I am VERY pleased with this unit.

The dust sensor not as good
This replacement unit has a dust sensor that is not as good and the unit it replaced. There could be visible dust nearby and it might not increase speed. Some times it does, but not as well as the original. Is there a way to clean that sensor? It may just be dirty.
