Interesting material!

Initially purchased for a friend who needed the black for use for tailing larger dry flies, I determined that the shorter bristles can be wrapped for tight, attractive bodies in the very smallest of sizes. Suggestion: should you find that the bristles don't want to wrap neatly, try soaking them in warm water or glycerine.

Beautiful product, love the color of the quills and the black-to-white sections . Going to make some great quill bodies
