Bluebird Feeder Perch Add-On

Our Bluebird feeder already had perches on 2 sides, but when we watched our parent Bluebirds try to teach their babies how to enter the feeder, we noticed they struggled for something to land on/attach to since they had not yet perfected their flight skills. We ordered a set of 2 perches to complete our bird feeder with landing platform ALL AROUND. WHAT A DIFFERENCE IT MADE ! I may add, here, our surprise that the folks @ Bird Haven knew exactly WHICH SET TO SEND (the 2nd set fit perfectly !) ! THANK YOU !

Thank you! It worked just as you said and keeps the blackbirds out. The bluebirds figured it out quickly as did some of the smaller birds! We were very tired of the blackbirds stealing all of the mealy worms.

Added these to the feeder to help new bluebirds and the youngsters find their way in rather than have to learn to fly between the rails. They have worked exactly as I hoped. The birds land on them and then work their way in to the feeder. After a couple of times landing, they just fly through the rails to the food. You make a well thought out, sturdy product that should last for years. I believe that anyone having problems getting the bluebirds to the feeder should probably try these add on perches. They worked for me.
