Dried Black Soldier Fly Larvae

This is the first time I have purchased the Black Soldier Fly Larvae. I read a review and someone said how much their chickens loved them. I thought I would try the Black Soldier but my chickens are not fond of them. Instead of ordering 2 bags of them, I should have order only 1. My chickens love the mealworms. I will be ordering mealworms once they have consumed these Black soldier Fly Larvae.

Most wild birds will not eat them

I bought a lot of Dried Black Soldier Fly Larvae because they were cheaper by the pound than the Dried mealsworms I had been buying. I feed them to wild birds. Only European Starlings, Crows and Blue Jays like them. Nothing else eats them and I have an average of 12-15 species of birds per day, all year. I will not buy them again.

Flock loves them

I was giving my chickens dried mealworms and ordered these by mistake a few months back.They literally love them - not sure what the difference is but they chase me around now while I’m putting them out - price is competitive, shipping is reasonable and customer service is top notch
