For anyone who wants to better understand the experiences of those who endured the concentration camps during World War II, Michael Reit’s books are powerful and worthwhile reads.

Like the first books this doesn’t disappoint. Having visited Auchwitz/Birkenau , they books bring to life what are now essentially museums. These stories bring what went on there to the forefront.
