This is my first time buying houjica, I did my research on how to prepare it ( it's similar to mixing matcha with recommendation of adding a little bit of sugar with it) and how people feel about. Some do not like it and compare the taste to tobacco (some people do like that tho) others say it is a roasted nutty flavor that brings out the bold of matcha that people love. I am in the second group and I will be buying this again. If you are someone who loves the smell and taste of matcha, which is a very nutty, tea taste, I recommend this to try because it brings out that boldness and keeps it at a high, not even oat milk can drown the taste.
