Great Mountain Shorts

The Stio OPR shorts are the best overall outdoor shorts, for all activities. Extremely comfortable with a great fit. I always buy 11. 5 "inseam shorts, used to buy another brand of bike short, these are superior. Based on the Stio size chart I ordered a 31, to fit my 32" waist. Raven color is a medium to darker gray. Fabric is soft, stretches well and is breathable. Pockets are great, 2 normal side pockets and 2 functional zip style pockets. Great fit at the waist, not to snug. I like the Stio slide type button to keep the shorts secure. Length is perfect, right at the top of the knee. I've been wearing these shorts to bike, hike and as casual wear shorts. Awesome product, I will add another pair or two,

Belt is lacking

Positives are everything about this short aside from the belt. The pockets are good, placed well. The material is nice. Stretchy and water resistant. The fit isn't weird anywhere and pretty true to size. The belt is a huge downfall. It's made of stretchy material which means that as it gets wet from rain/sweat/etc. the belt stretches and doesn't work as well. Sadly this became a problem only after wearing the shorts a couple of times so I can't return them. I wouldn't recommend these shorts to anybody that doesn't like their pants around their ankles.

Great Do-Everything Shorts

I’m not a mountain biker, but I love the shorts for hiking, town, hanging out, dirtbagging, whatever. They fit well, ample 4-way stretch, breathable, good pockets, very comfortable overall. Can’t speak about durability just yet, but they appear well made and the fabric seems durable. Liked them so much after a 15 mile hike I bought a second pair at the Steamboat Springs store. I’m generally a 34” waist (+/-) and these fit true to size. Note they do stretch with wear but return to original size after washing.
