AeroPress Coffee Maker - Premium

Really disappointed.....

I was an early adopter of the Aeropress. Been using it exclusively for over a decade. Probably purchased 5 or more of them. Was really looking forward to the glass option. My first complaint is the price. I really feel like I have wasted $200. I tried to like it. The top of the vessel is too small for the scoop and its always a mess. This one didn't come with a funnel like the others, although this one was the only one that needed it. It really needs a silicone ring where the device meets to cup. This would offer not only more stability but less likely to chip your mug as I did. Maybe that particular mug was too fragile. It only happened the one time but either way a silicone ring at the base would be a good addition. Also, it broke. It fell over on its side on my counter. Didn't even fall on the floor and its done for. So, now I am back to the old plastic one. I just cannot see myself spending anymore money to get the new metal one. I already feel a little ripped off. I just don't want to give them anymore money. As much as I have loved the aeropress for years, the premium was such a disappointment that I think I will now look for an alternative.

The quality of this aeropress vs. the original is like night and day. The flavor it produces is amazing and the sturdy design is a work of art!

The Aeropress Premium is lovely to look-at, easy to use, and makes great-tasting coffee. I LOVE my lattes!
