Versatile

The film is known for its versatility and the punch it gives to the colour red. and I think the shots I added show this. It is a good all rounder.

True to life

Compared to the saturation of, say, Ultramax, I find my shots looked almost desaturated, but in fact this film produces realistic, true to life colours. Great film for beginners and those just starting out with film, I reckon. Shot on my LomoApparat.

Good but a but results a bit underwhelming

I am a little bit disappointed with this film. I had very high hopes after seeing example images, but the pictures I got weren’t as good as I expected. I shot this stock during my recent trip to Spain, and maybe because the landscape is already so orange and yellow, the film’s inherent orange tint made the photos look too orangey. I did get some nice shots as well, so maybe this film works better elsewhere—perhaps for city photography or during winter. I’ll probably give it another try in a different setting. I was hesitating between giving it 3 or 4 stars, but in the end it’s 4, as the shots aren’t terrible. It just didn’t match my (maybe exaggerated) expectations.
