Absolutely love it

This isn’t my first pellet grill and I couldn’t be happier. I was so glad I didn’t to with a different brand as soon as I started putting it together. These things are built like tanks!

Great Smoker - Great Customer Service

The Recteq DeckBoss 900 is my first pellet smoker, and it’s been a surprisingly great shift from the offsets I’ve used for years. I love my Shirley Fabrication and Lang, but in the middle of a North Carolina summer, standing over a hot offset just isn’t fun anymore. I wanted something that still produced good food without turning every cook into a sweat‑soaked fire management session, and the DeckBoss has been exactly that. The build quality is genuinely impressive — solid, clean, and clearly made to last. The cook chamber size hits the perfect balance for backyard cooking. It’s big enough for ribs, a chuck roast, or a couple of different items at once, but it doesn’t feel oversized or wasteful. I’ve cooked ribs, chuck roast, and a few other things, and it’s been consistently reliable. Temps stay steady, the cooks are predictable, and the results have been great. The smoke profile is definitely more subtle than an offset, but still noticeable enough to give the meat character. I also have to mention the customer service, because it honestly impressed me. I accidentally ordered the wrong shelf and reached out for help. They walked me through the exchange process quickly and without any hassle. It was one of those interactions that makes you feel good about the company you’re buying from. Overall, the DeckBoss 900 has been a fantastic first pellet smoker — easy to use, well‑built, and backed by customer service that actually shows up when you need them. I’ve been very impressed.
