Hydro-Glaze Cooling Aloe Shave Gel

Unlikely customer, Huge fan

By chance I came across these wonderful shaving products, and as a Latina female I am not the typical customer of the Frederick Benjamin line, but I've been using the shave gel for about a year. Probably like most of you, I have had razor bumps, redness, and irritation on my skin after shaving, and it got bad enough to where I'd only wear long pants, even in summer. This gel has helped me with most of that: it is gentle enough for daily use, softens and soothes, and rinses away cleanly, prepping the skin nicely for a moisturizer. Another perk is that the scent makes your shower smell like eucalyptus, kind of like a spa! Truth be told, if Frederick Benjamin ever made a women’s line, I would be among the first in line to try it. Until then, this gel will have a place on my shelf!

Amazing product

From Day 1, I've been hooked on this product. I've been bald for over 2 years and couldn't find the right products for me. Then I stumbled upon this product about a year ago and have used it religiously ever since. Best product for me. No bumps and goes on invisible so I can actually see what I'm shaving. They have a customer for life.

Proper Shaving Gel!

I useto use Shea Moisture, but the quality went bad. It was like shaving with oily water. I searched for a new brand and hoping to find a great black owned business. Well i did! This gel is great! Not too thick nor thin. It's clear, therefore you can see what you're shaving. It leaves a great shave every time. I use it on my bikini line, arm pits and my partner shaves his face with it. We love it!
