As another reviewer said this is not an easy pattern. The faux jacket and decorative detail require some effort but the end result is a very cute outfit. I did not attempt the knitted beret and made a fabric beret instead.

The French Beret

Good knitted beret pattern. Easy to follow. I made the stalk using the i-cord stitch for more substance.

Truly "Chic" design but--

This is an adorable design. However, I feel that the skill level "Easy Intermediate" is misleading for this smaller size doll pattern. I have been sewing for 5 decades, and there is no "easy" about assembling this dress. Placing the zipper trim on the jacket so that the tape & teeth are facing out correctly can be tricky, not to mention set in sleeves and distributing gathering. Showing successive steps in different fabric combinations might be confusing to a less experienced sewer but overall I would say that the directions were were very well done. Note: this turned out a little snug for a Welly Wisher.
