Good Boot

boot feels very solid but not too stiff to hike in. Laces feel a few inches short. I got this in size 48 because it is the largest most companies go up to when I am in reality a 48.5-49. La Sportiva 48 destroyed my feet, but this fits well for me.

I might change this later. but I cant wear these boot for more than 1 day otherwise my feet hurt so bad I can bearly walk. So i have to alternate them with another pair of boots. I hope that its just the break in period because they are great for walking up slopes

Great boots for snow and trail hiking

I have done a few long days in the Sierras, Rubys and Winds and these have performed well. They stay dry after treating with nikwax during some long days in the snow. Have a great toe box for kicking steps. Lace system is adjustable and solid. Could not get my BD crampons on the toe and still have not tried them with crampons.
