Zipper is Comfy
I bought these for the zip on feature so that I can climb with out pads and have good protection for the descents. These are easy to put on/take off and are comfortable when on. The zipper is completely isolated from the skin. These are really comfortable.

Pretty good, just sits too low on thigh
These are great. The zipper is a really nice feature. Protected me in a crash without any damage to my knee and or the pads. I wish they went about 3 inches higher on the thigh though.
