Weekend Warrior

Ordered the 50L in blue and the bag’s quality showed up as expected! Material feels very tough and pockets are laid out perfectly, giving many options depending on what your packing configuration is. Straps and padding are very ergonomic and comfortable for long periods of use. My only worry was whether the 50L was overkill or not, but as the name says, it’s truly perfect for a weekend, single-bag packing strategy, and is likely needed over the 40L depending on the amount of off-mountain gear brought.

Five decades of skiing and a career representing two nations at the World Cup and Olympic levels have taught me a lot about travel gear. Modern setups may be lighter than the six-pair ski bags of my racing days, but gear organization remains vital. Diamant nailed it with the 50L Weekend Warrior. The storage capacity is exceptional, yet even fully packed, the ergonomic comfort stands out. During a fortnight at Coronet Peak, I rarely saw another one on the slopes, which genuinely surprised me. For me, the 50L capacity is non-negotiable—better to have the room and not need it than run out of space. A outstanding 5-star bag that truly delivers for dedicated skiers.

Love it! It took me a little while to work out where to attach the helmet cover but got there in the end! Loads of space for everything and very well made.
