What a great idea. No stitches!

First I have to say, I love wallets. (I blame my Dad) I probably have 30 leather wallets in my desk right now, at all price points. When I came across The Lost Dutchman I was intrigued. I ordered the Franklin 2, the Finigan and the Big Fin so I could compare them and pick one to use. The Franklin 2 came first and what a revelation. I was very dubious of the folded, no stitching, design but boy was I surprised. The design, size and capacity are perfect. One of my goals was stop using a money clip. The Franklin 2 appears to be the perfect solution. It holds my cash and gives me access to my cash as easy as my money clip. I will receive the other two wallets tomorrow, but right now, I'm unsure if they are better than the Franklin 2. Don't let the folded design scare you; it's nearly perfect.

So Far So Good

I’ve had the Franklin 2’s for a few weeks now; I’ve purchased two of them to see how they’ll patina. I have one Franklin 1, it was in a colorway that’s not available in the 2’s and it patina’d quite nicely. I do really enjoy the separate cash area and the ability to slide money in from the side. The card area is a bit loose, which means that one must be careful when the wallet is open, but it’s not a problem once the flap is secured to the wallet. I’m enjoying using the Franklin 2’s.
