I haven't actually really used the blankets yet as I bought matching blankets for my daughter and her baby brother on the way to "exchange" in the hospital when he arrives in October but the transaction was easy and local pick up pretty quick. From what I can tell blankets are soft. Thinner then I was expecting but still nice.
