Doesn’t stay tight

It’s super cute, the bun sling fits and supports my toddler well. Unfortunately the weight of my toddler loosens the strap and I have to constantly tighten it which is difficult to do while wearing it with the weight of my toddler. He’s only 26lbs. I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong?
