New Wash Method for All Hair Types

The product leaves residue on scalp even after serious scrubbing

The product does leave my hair feeling very soft and gives it nice volume. However, even after following the instructions with the prewash and new wash, no matter how much I scrub my scalp to remove the product I notice uncomfortable buildup on my scalp after a few days. My hair itself feels great for a week but my scalp consistently feels oily and built up. I have been scrubbing and massaging the heck out of my scalp in the shower to mitigate this issue but it has not made any difference

Absolutely love how my hair feels today. Less frizz, more natural body. It's soft, but not in the weird over-conditioned way. Will definitely be using this going forward!

Love, love, love Hairstory products! Have been a customer for several years, and have never found anything that my thin, aging hair responds to like your products. However, I am still having trouble with the new Root Lift packaging. I wrote before and you were so kind as to replace my shipment with another bottle, but I am still having the same issue. Instead of a "spray," I get a stream, which does little to spread the product through the hair. It is almost as if Lift is too thick (gummy) and does not feed well through the narrower tubing. I do NOT have the same issue with Undressed. The only thing saving me is an old empty Root Lift bottle that I can transfer the product into, but am afraid that bottle will give out at some point. While I love the look of your new packaging, I was wondering if others have had the same issue. I think it could be resolved by adding a spray mechanism with a little wider tubing similar to the old bottle. Anyway, thanks for reading my "rant." I know I may not be correctly identifying the part of the bottle that the spray comes out of, but I think you understand what I mean. Unfortunately, Roof Lift gives me just that...some lift, and is not a product I can eliminate to get the look I want with the texture of my hair. Still LOVE your products though; just don't know how to eliminate the "streaming" vs. "spraying" effect I get from the new bottle. I have tried numerous solutions, but end up at Square 1. t
