Schuberth E2 Explorer Helmet

​Ordered a Schuberth E2 Explorer Blue / Medium Helmet, which was showing as available. Two days later got an email saying their site was wrong about this helmet being available, and requested I make another selection. Chose a black/red Defender model which was in stock. Don’t like the color, but the helmet was in stock, at a fantastic price, and is a very fine product. It was shipped promptly, arriving in just a few days after confirming the order. Vendor was very helpful via email and phone, and apologized for their mistake. Have previously owned several Schuberth helmets, and found them to be very well made, comfortable products that provided superb protection in at least two serious mishaps. In my limited use so far, have found the E2 to be very quiet and reasonably comfortable. Just as soon not to need to confirm it’s protection capabilities. May need to get some different cheek pads and/or other parts to make it fit my personal needs.

This is my first Modular helmet and I really like it. The fit is great. Very comfortable and quiet when everything is closed. It's nice to be able to easily open the front when I want to talk to someone or just get some extra air.

Been on a C3 Pro for years, my 1st and only Schuberth helmet, it's my daily commuter helmet. Fit was never the best for me head so wasn't used for long trips but it was quiet and combined with a Cardo with 45mm speakers, can listen to music/podcasts with very good clarity and the helmet was very quiet. When the E2 came on sale at a excellent price so I jumped on it. Wow, the fit was spot on for my head. It was more rounded so no pressure points, straight out of the box. Also added with the slick Cardo SC system which makes audio system super integrated offering a nice clean look. Speakers that are preinstalled in the helmet are not quite as good as the 45mm, but it's 90% there so I am good with it. Finish of the E2 is better than the C3. I am extremely pleased with the E2 and will retire the C3 now. It served me well but the E2 is definitely a step up for both commuting AND long distance rides. Got a Arai Explorer that will be collecting dust as well now, which is also a excellent helmet (similiar fit to the E2, for reference).
