3- 16 inch Ashford looms

Absolutely Lovely Loom

For context, I am a beginner weaver who was working with frame looms before this. This loom is exceptionally lovely. The wood is warm, it was very easy to construct (use a drill if you need to!), and it's allowed me to make some really lovely plain weave so far. It has a spot for a second heddle too, and various options to buy additional heddles. Do keep in mind that it comes with a 7.5 DPI heddle, and I've found it works best with worsted/aran yarns. If you're a beginner, though, I recommend it. It's probably a little simple for somebody who wants to get into more shafts, because it doesn't have anything like an expansion for additional reeds past two (yet!), but it's still really nice as is. I got the 16", and it's still small enough that I'm comfortable with it in my teeny apartment. Not that I've had to store it away yet . . . I'm already thinking about my next project on it!
