Abalone is NO baloney!
Excellent product as usual. This time I prepared them as follows:
1) As Abalone is also known as the 'truffle of the sea' in French, and as I also had a black truffle from E-fish, I improvised a vegetable risotto dish topped by both truffle raw slices. Yummy!
2)Abalone, tenderized, sliced and briefly sautéed in coconut oil, topping a coconut milk-cooked celeriac purée mixed with lime- and ginger-flavored dulse seaweed, black garlic shavings, viola flowers...
