Elusive but intriguing
Tightly compressed leaves. This tea seems to do best with a lot of leaf in the brew, and I may have tried to stretch my sample too far, causing my steeps to come out a little thin. Nonetheless I can tell it's a quality tea. The broth has a nice, full mouthfeel. I get hints of floral notes, green vegetables, and a dusting of spicy ginger. Some astringency comes out on later steeps.
