the bulbs are great but even some printed matter. is hard to read even with the great lumens figure. I know there are various designations of brightness so if you could recommend the absolute brightest type of an LED bulb please let me know. Lampshades are a problem too. Yhank you, Bob M.

Great bulb for those of us who need more light to read than we used to. Also creates little or no heat for a standard 3 way switch that doesn’t hold up to incandescent 200-250 watt bulbs. Packaged well for shipping. Arrived undamaged.

I inherited a torchiere that came with a 50-200-250 bulb. Since it directs light to the ceiling, the bright setting is more important than a table lamp. Shortly after I started using it, the incandescent bulb blew out noisily, so I went hunting for an LED replacement. This bulb is perfect. Very bright, yet provides soft room light when on the low setting.
