533 – Rugged Tote & Portfolio Pattern

The sewing instruction sheet is very easy to follow. I've been wanting a bag like this for a long time, but couldn't afford a $99 bag like this from famous retailers. So, I made one and it turned out great. I didn't have a 1" d-ring, I only had a 1/2" d-ring and it will work just fine, but is maybe not cosmetically as appealing as a 1" would be, but I'm disabled so I'm on a limited income. I am going to make another one and when I do I will use a 1" d-ring. I also recommend pinking shearing the sides of the bag. It's the only seam that will be exposed. The other seams will be encased.
