Choux Choux

I am so obsessed with this perfume its not even funny. I love buying from Arielle Shoshana, packaging, reliability, shipping, and wait time are all 10/10 I’ve never had an issue and I know if I ever did it’d be solved without any issues whatsoever. This fragrance though… incredible. Smells like eating a light, airy, slightly citrus pastry topped with powdererd sugar on a beautiful sunny day. Stunning.

My new love. For me, the opening is like eating eclairs on the beach. The eclairs are filled with a very light lemon flavored whipped cream filling and I'm surrounded by ocean mist. On dry down I get the sandalwood and something briny that smells like mild laundry detergent and fresh sea air. I still get a light vanilla citrus as well. I also get a smidge of something peppery. This starts sweet and ends up salty and sweet. It's a summer scent without being obvious. No coconut or suntan lotion but that sea air is intoxicating. Such a scent memory for me that transports me to warmer weather. I wish more gourmands were like this. There's definitely something edible but it's not linear and has surprising facets that are juxtaposed but compliment each other. Great longevity!
