Teal Freedom No-Pull Dog Harness

The tips included on how to fit this properly on my dog were 100% helpful! My shelter pup was not socialized when he was little and though he's been with me for one year, is still hard to walk. HOWEVER, I noticed improvement when I walked him with the No-Pull Harness and two leashes. Putting tension on his chest, and not his throat when he pulls, seemed to refocused his direction to me. I'm pleased with the quality and pleased that it does not chafe him. It's going to take a lot of time and patience before we can walk calmly with a pack but I can see the progress. Would I recommend this no-pull harness? Absolutely!

It definitely helps my dog from pulling less. He needs some training still, but the difference in this harness compared to one I was using is night and day!

Not good, and no reflective stripes

I had high expectations considering the fact that it’s made in the USA and a small business that’s completely focused on dogs. First, I had no idea that you’re supposed to have two leashes. I guess that’s why they tried selling me another leash. But my friend who recommended it said no- you can use the same leash you used before. Overall, it seems to be well constructed. But there seems to be one major design flaw- there is not a single piece of reflective material. Nowhere. At all. I don’t understand why they would not include any reflective properties. My neighbor stopped her car to tell me that she didn’t see my dog until she saw me. His old collar has reflective material woven into the collar which makes it easier for drivers to see my dog at night. Now I have to either return it or add something to it to make him visible. We walk in the dark every night and I don’t want this new harness being the cause of an accident. Now I’m curious to know if the special leash they sell for this harness is also invisible in the dark. I hope someone there reads this and can update the product for safety concerns.
