I bought one strictly based-on FOSI's reputation and because I own 7 other FOSI hardware. I am not certain what this "DC Filter" exactly filters out and how much ("insertion loss" (I.L.) measurements): (1)I.L. data under max/min specified voltages (12V/55V)?and max/50% (10A) loaded configurations across DC-10MHz? (2)Voltage drop measurements? (3)Why minimum 'DC IN' is >12Vdc, when you make audio hardware with 5Vdc inputs?

Fosi Audio DC Power Filter

I have purchased 7 of these EMI/RFI DC filters. They easily reduce noise by half. I use most on SMPS (10A 48V) that feed 300W+ class D amplifiers.

Powersupply filter

It improved sound. Sound is more natural, high tones are not so bright any more. I use it with my zd3 dac.
