Disappointing

LP books seem to be not of the quality & structure they used to have. I started using them 30 years ago. This particular volume is poorly structured and doesn't provide coherent details of specific places. It jumps all over the place.

Fantastic guide

Love the new format of Lonely Planet guides. Easier to read and lots of photos for each section. We have borough a Loneky Planet guide for every country we have travelled to!

Baddest lonely planet I’ve ever had

I really like lonely planets and have travelled with many of them before. This one is by far the worst. It has no structure and there is a minimalistic number of suggestions for food, accommodations, etc. For activities, getting there and away, etc. you‘ll find almost nothing. We’ve booked one of the suggested hotels at the Gilis and left two nights earlier, as it was dirty and very expensive for what it offered. We helped ourselves with google reviews rather than the lonely planet then. I’m very disappointed as I’m usually used to high quality tips from other lonely planets I’ve had.
