NOT as advertised!!!!!

I love the way the wax cotton looked in their advertisement. However, the pair of pants I got are virtually black. I thought I ordered the wrong product. I called customer support and they said no that’s the way they look you just have to wear them. well I’ll be wearing those these till I die and I don’t think they. I am truly disappointed with them because I really wanted a pair of “blue” waxed, cotton jeans, not black.

**The color you see online versus what you actually get can be a little misleading. When they arrive, they have more of an oiled, wet look and feel. But if you scrape them or they get worn in certain spots, you’ll notice that wax-flake effect underneath. I’ve got all three colors, and the biggest thing is just understanding how this material works. You don’t wash them. You use a stiff bristle brush to knock the dirt out by breaking loose the surface wax. After that, you re-wax the area with your bar, then hit it with heat to set it. I use a heat gun myself — makes the job way faster and gives a cleaner finish. **
