I was so tired of regular earrings stabbing me behind the ears, and I found these and gave them a try. I am so glad I did, because they are absolutely amazing. They are gorgeous, high quality, and PAINLESS. I can sleep with them in and not have any issues at all. They are a little difficult to get in because of the short post, but I was able to do it by myself within a few minutes. I recommend putting a regular earring with a long post through your ear, placing the flat back on the post, and gently pulling the back through your piercing hole to the front.

Sparkle With a Sag

The 6mm silver pair is beautiful, but they don’t sit right. Once inserted, there’s a noticeable gap, so the earring doesn’t sit flush against my ear and ends up drooping downward—it never lies flat the way it should. I’ve purchased other nap earrings and never had this issue. My piercings are still tight, so it’s not a fit issue. I pressed the posts together fully, eliminating user error, but the gap and droop remained. It seems to be the combination of the weight of the 6mm stone and the stem being slightly too long to support it, which causes them to hang instead of staying flush. I do understand that shortening the post too much could make them harder to get in — but here we are. For these, I recommend the regular stem, which I will purchase.
