Hefty, rugged, XL worked for me. I’m 6ft. 48 in chest, 240 lbs. Normally I run XXL on all those “modern” fashion and outdoorsy fits. Coat will surely outlive me and whoever inherits it from cold dead hands in some Teton Valley range, next to the elk carcasses where I’ll take a nap.

I've used Filson products for40 years. The brush pants never wore out, I just got too fat. I'm 65 so my perspective is that you buy one size larger for work or hunting. If you are looking for a mate, buy true to size.
