Meze Audio Alba Dynamic Driver In-Ear Monitors

These are my first IEM’s and my first real step into the very basic “audiophile” market. I’m far from an audio expert, but these absolutely blew my expectations. For $160, the audio feels very rich and open, and the amount of bass is honestly impressive (when the silicon tips are sufficiently in your ears. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I am very satisfied with these. A long-term audiophile might argue that these suck, but as someone who’s not that deeply invested, I am fully on board with these. The best aspect of these, beyond audio quality, is actually their comfort. Typically, I despise in ear audio devices. I’m a headphone guy through and through. But these are wildly comfy, don’t fall out of my ears (even when jostling my head side-to-side), and don’t hurt even after a few hours of listening. Overall, incredible product across the board. Well worth the price, for me.
