StreamLine Direct Connect System - USC001

Poor Water Flow

I ordered and installed the StreamLine Direct Connect System in Feb 2026. The tested water flow rate averages 0. 6 GPM compared to the 1. 5 GPM listed on the website. This device does not give 1. 5 GPM This is not a good product for kitchen use connected to the sink's cold water input. It may be great for a water dispenser. What can be done to improve the water flow?

The quality of the water versus the Britta we had, is so much better and we love not having to refill something in the fridge anymore!

Pros/cons of single stage cold water supply filter

- Easy install - High water throughput - The shipped (and online) instructions are incomplete and customer support initially gave wrong answer. - Requires me to waste water on each use, since the faucet mixer may contain unfiltered water from hot supply. - As expected, filtering is not as good as multiple stage filtering, though literature claims comparable filtering. - Initially had problems with customer support: Phones are under-staffed; Email responses are slow and spotty. I found calling and selecting "Sales" not "Installation help" was the most effective means to get support
