The star of the Show

I have been listening to vinyl and building music systems for over six decades mainly using tube equipment. Of course in the early days tubes were all there were. I tried one of the early better solid state amp and preamp and quickly went back to tubes but finally bought $12,500 worth of solid state equipment from another Canadian manufacturer a number of years ago. I wanted to buy one last piece of equipment and I wanted it to be a tube amp. I got a chance to listen to a TS 34 and I knew this was it. As I am now breaking it in I realize that the amp cost one fourth the price of my old amp and preamp, one half the cost of my speakers and one third the cost of my turntable, arm and cartridge and it is far the star of the show.

Sound Quality Means Everything

First, very impressed by the build quality, it's very heavy and built like a tank. Next, the amp is absolutely beautiful. Controls are are straight forward and easy to use. But the most important consideration is the sound quality. You won't find better sound quality unless you spend at least double what this unit costs. I'm very pleased and totally happy with this amp.

The Galion TS34 is an excellent sounding integrated amp. Great soundstage and separation of instruments. Solid bass, detailed mid range and clear and smooth treble. It offers Class A and Class AB operations. The auto bias is a great feature. I think so highly of the Galion TS34 that I’m selling my $12,000.00 German made integrated amp that I have had for many years. Gary
