Field Cruiser Jacket - Washed Fatigue Green

This jacket is fantastic. The washed fabric, construction, and overall quality are exactly what I’d expect from Filson. My only suggestion is to think beyond the sizing guide and consider the look you’re after. The guide pointed me to a Medium, but knowing Filson tends to run generously, I ordered a Small. It still felt roomy—great if you plan to layer heavily. Living in Texas, though, I’m usually just wearing a T-shirt or button-up underneath, so I exchanged it for an XS. The fit is spot on. It still has enough room for light layering but has a much cleaner, more tailored silhouette. If you prefer an oversized utility jacket, follow the guide. If you’re after a trimmer fit, don’t be afraid to size down. Cheers. 🍻

Abundant Pockets!

This jacket, which I use like a shirt-jacket, was a total surprise. When doing chores I’m usually pocket deprived, but not with thing! The interior left pocket is perfect for keeping a cell phone out of harms way. With four generous front pockets, plus hand warmers, it really is ready for duty. The mid weight fabric is perfect for high mountain mornings and sunsets but to tell you the truth I wear it all day comfortably, and it certainly protects me from the sun. I love this thing. Now I think it’s about time for me to beg Filson to offer more colors!
