Looks like a nice refractor. I can't wait to see stars with it. The only issues I have so far is the lens cap is a little loose and there is no space below the top handle to grab the scope properly. I had to move the lower dovetail forward to install the electronic focuser. Otherwise the scope looks amazing.

Askar 71F refractor
Overall very well made scope. Stars are tight and round to the edge with APSC sensor however they show a little elongation when used with the 0.75x reducer.
Visually the images are very sharp. The eyepieces and erecting prism are ok but not great. When used with a quality eyepiece the view is very pleasing. The focuser is very smooth and accurate and the rotator is one of the best I have used. The rings are a bit thin and cheap but this is a budget refractor. There is a tiny bit of colour fringing but nothing serious. Overall this a very good scope for imaging. It is not on par with other Askar products like SQA series but its less than half the price so in terms of value it’s though to beat it!
